A child with Autism is ours to care for

It takes a village to raise a child.

We are at that time in life when we need that village to come together again.
…..the children need the village
……the parents need the village
…….the society needs the village!

The number of children with autism are increasing every day. Yes, they may seem different. Yes, they may seem difficult at times. But they also have many unique and extraordinary capabilities that can be lost if we do not take the time and make the effort to look beyond the obvious.

A regular education system will not do them justice. Isolating them from society does not benefit anyone. What we need to do is to make a change! The village, the society, needs to do something differently to make it possible for children with autism to discover their dream and to be able to do what they are good at!

We need an education system that gives specialised  attention to the children’s learning. We need a system that has time to patiently recognise the extraordinary capabilities of individual children. It is then that we truly advocate for children with autism and give them a chance to pursue their dreams!

We at Samatha learning Center, offer personalized education with group sizes of 6 students. There is one teacher for every 3 students and every teaching session is one on one! That is how we are able to recognise every child’s innate abilities. It is how we advocate for every child with special need who comes under our care.
